Medical Oncology is a clinical unit specifically dedicated to the treatment of solid and hematological human neoplasms with special attention to innovation and therapeutic individualization, continuum care and palliative therapies in oncology. Medical Oncology has 24-hour beds for the management of highly complex cancer patients and day hospital beds and outpatient therapy activities, in a context aimed at sustainability and humanisation. Medical Oncology is active in pivotal clinical trials for the evaluation of innovative drugs.
